Liquefactive necrosis
TYPE OF NECROSIS WHICH RESULTS IN A TRANSFORMATION OF THE TISSUE INTO A LIQUID VISCOUS MASS
Colliquative necrosis

Renal cortical necrosis
RARE CAUSE OF ACUTE KIDNEY FAILURE
Acute Cortical Necrosis; Diffuse Cortical Necrosis; Renal Cortical Necrosis; Diffuse bilateral renal cortical necrosis
Renal cortical necrosis (RCN) is a rare cause of acute kidney failure. The condition is "usually caused by significantly diminished arterial perfusion of the kidneys due to spasms of the feeding arteries, microvascular injury, or disseminated intravascular coagulation" and is the pathological progression of acute tubular necrosis.
Acute tubular necrosis
MEDICAL CONDITION INVOLVING THE DEATH OF TUBULAR EPITHELIAL CELLS THAT FORM THE RENAL TUBULES OF THE KIDNEYS
Tubular necrosis; Muddy-brown cast; Tubulorrhexis; Acute Tubular Necrosis
Acute tubular necrosis (ATN) is a medical condition involving the death of tubular epithelial cells that form the renal tubules of the kidneys. Because necrosis is often not present, the term acute tubular injury (ATI) is preferred by pathologists over the older name acute tubular necrosis (ATN).

Chancre

A chancre ( SHANG-kər) is a painless genital ulcer most commonly formed during the primary stage of syphilis. This infectious lesion forms approximately 21 days after the initial exposure to Treponema pallidum, the gram-negative spirochaete bacterium causing syphilis. Chancres transmit syphilis through direct physical contact. These ulcers usually form on or around the anus, mouth, penis and vulva. Chancres may diminish between four and eight weeks without the application of medication.

Chancres are also associated with the African trypanosomiasis (sleeping sickness), surrounding the area of the tsetse fly bite.
